1. About Inspired Dinner Club
Inspired Dinner Club (IDC) is a curated monthly social dining experience hosted across London and Leicester. Events take place on the third Wednesday of each month at independent restaurants. IDC is operated by Sukhi Wahiwala.
By reserving a seat or purchasing an annual membership, you agree to these terms.
2. Booking Fees
A non-refundable booking fee of £10 is required to reserve your seat at any IDC dinner. This fee holds your place and is processed at the time of booking.
Booking fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of personal plans or circumstances
- Inability to attend on the night
- Cancellation or rescheduling of the event by IDC (in which case your fee will be credited toward a future dinner — see Section 5)
Your meal on the night is paid separately, directly to the restaurant. IDC does not process food or drink payments.
3. Annual Membership
Annual membership is priced at £99 and covers 12 dinners across a 12-month period from the date of purchase.
Membership fees are non-refundable. This applies in full, including in cases of partial use, early cancellation, or change of circumstances.
Attendance and tick count: Each dinner you are registered for counts toward your 12-dinner membership allowance, whether or not you attend. Non-attendance does not roll over, carry forward, or entitle you to a credit or refund. Your membership dinner is considered used from the point your seat is reserved.
Annual membership provides guaranteed seat reservation at every dinner during your membership period, subject to availability at the point of renewal.
4. Cancellations by You
If you are unable to attend a dinner you have booked:
- Your booking fee is non-refundable
- If you hold an annual membership, the dinner counts as used regardless of attendance
- Please let us know as early as possible so we can open your seat to the waitlist — it helps the community even if it doesn’t affect your fee
5. Cancellations or Changes by IDC
In the rare event that IDC needs to cancel or significantly reschedule an event:
- Booking fees will be credited toward a future dinner of your choice
- No cash refunds will be issued
- Membership holders will have the affected dinner added back to their allowance
We will notify you by email as soon as possible if an event is affected.
6. Conduct at Dinners
IDC is a social dining experience built on good conversation and mutual respect. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave if their conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the experience of other guests.
There is a strict no-pitching, no-agenda policy at all dinners. Guests who repeatedly disregard this may be removed from future event lists at our discretion.
7. Photography and Content
IDC may photograph or film events for use on social media and marketing materials. By attending, you consent to this. If you would prefer not to appear in any published content, please let us know on the night or by emailing us in advance.
8. Liability
IDC acts as an organiser and does not accept liability for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal property at events
- Any actions or conduct of third-party venues or other guests
- Any food allergies or dietary requirements not communicated directly to the venue
Guests are responsible for communicating any dietary requirements or allergies directly to the restaurant.
